4th of July picnic
You are invited and bring your friends too
Atlanta
Kurdish Community in sponsorship of KYC will be gathering at Sweet
Water Creek near Atlanta at Lethia Springs. There is a map and picture
of the park is attached.
We will gather there to picnic and party together on Friday 4th of July 2:00pm-10:00 pm.
We have already reserved a picnic area #5.
Directions
to the park: From I-20W exit #44 at Thornton Road, turn south and go
1/4 miles. Turn right on Blairs Bridge Road. After 2 miles, turn left
on Mount Vernon Road for Picnic Shelters 8, 9, and 10. Go straight on
Mt. Vernon Road for the Bait Shop and Picnic Shelter #1. Turn right on
Mt. Vernon for the park Visitor Center, hiking trails, the Group
Shelter and Picnic Shelters 2 through 7 and # 11.

All vehicles are required to purchase and display a parking permit
available at Green Boxes located in each area, the Park Office or the
Bait Shop. Directional signs can be erected only on a separate stake
(not attached to park signs, fences, trees, etc.). |

Open-sided covered shelter. All visitors are required to have parkpass. |
| Important Information |
All picnic shelters have a 50 person maximum; there is insufficient parking for more. |
| Maximum Number of Vehicles |
Shelters 1 & 2: 30-40 cars maximum. Shelters 3 & 4: 6 cars
maximum. Shelters 5, 10, & 11: 20 cars maximum. Shelters 7 & 9:
15 cars maximum. Shelter 8: 9 cars maximum. |
| Park Gates |
Gates are open from 7 am to 10 pm. |
| Parkpass |
Parkpass fees: 1-12 passenger vehicles $3 per day or $30 annual
parkpass; 13-30 passenger vehicles $20 per day or $50 annual parkpass;
31 or more passenger vehicles $50 per day or $200 annual parkpass. |
