KYC & KAYO SD mini Seminar in San Diego CA

On August 7th 2008 Kurdish Youth Club and Kurdish American Youth
Organization of San Diego held a join seminar in that city. In the
seminar they exchanged ideas and developed a better bond between
KAYO-SD and KYC. The seminar was attended by San Diego youth and some
members of the community. The discussions took place over cold
beverages Kurdish paklava and cake made by the members.
The seminar was held in a Panel format. It was composed of Raving
Berwari from KAYO SD, Ara Alan KYC- Atlanta Kocher Arslan KYC- Atlanta,
Azad Sameen KYC-Nashville, Hosein Maronesy and Mersaad Abdullah
community veterans. The gathering took place at Kurdish Human Rights
Watch office. The seminar was concluded by a Trivia Game prepared by
Minhaj Akrayi.
The informative trivia taught different facts about
Kurdish history, geography and sociopolitical of Kurdistan. in
conclusion a larger number of Kurdish Youth across US are in contact
and in network. they are willing to learn from one another to better
serve Kurdistan. They have also made what used to be a channel for
communication between the groups into a bridge that they can easily
collaborate and coordinate on.
